Personality.
Criosphinx. An Egyptian, mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a ram. In many ways, Cry fits his name. The colt is shorter in stature than many, but he is build thick and solid like a tank, obviously meant for the greatest speed at short distances. He also has a predator's mentality, seeming to pick out the biggest threats and never losing track of them. He doesn't do well with the 'weak', as he's a dominant creature that's incredibly prone to bullying weaker horses and more timid humans. He's not really dangerous, and the only injuries likely to occur would be accidental. He's not working in a manner that's necessarily out to get you - he just wants to get his way, and isn't worried about being pushy to get there. However, if a handler or rider doesn't give into his fuss and gives him a good smack and firm handling right off the bat, he settles down pretty readily. You can never give him much leash, though, or he'll fall back into bad habits very quickly. One thing Cry seems to be very good at is reading, for lack of a better word, the will or heart of other horses. If he's going down the stretch and there's a horse dueling him, he seems to know how much he has to give to break their resolve. That being what it is, Cry is incredibly gutsy himself and has more heart than many horses can boast. His never-quit attitude is driven both by his own competitive drive and his relationship and trust in the rider pushing him forward, making him dig a little deeper to get the job done. With the right person or people, Cry can be the perfect horse.

Cry loads more easily than any horse at Valkyrie - it's almost anxious, sometimes practically plowing the handler over to get into the gate. However, it works well and he sits very focused in the gate while he waits for the start. When the gate opens, Cry charges out, though he generally isn't the fastest nor does he go straight to the front. Instead, he settled behind the lead horses by a few lengths, biding his time and allowing them to tire before he makes his move. Normally he shows his incredible turn of foot coming out of the final turn. Because he can accelerate quickly, he charges later than some, but he's got enough speed to overtake the leaders in impressive form.
